# Cobblehop > Cobblehop is an AI transit companion for Massachusetts. Type or say where you're going in your own words and language and get one clear route as a visual card, with a leave-in countdown, the stops, your arrival time and walking at each end. Web app: https://cobblehop.com Cobblehop is built for visitors first and for anyone who finds transit confusing. It gives one plan instead of ten options, and it watches the stops so riders don't miss theirs. It is independent and not affiliated with the MBTA or MassDOT. ## Key facts - What it is: an AI transit companion for Massachusetts, available as a web app. The site is https://cobblehop.com and the app opens at https://cobblehop.com/app (a question can be passed as https://cobblehop.com/app?q=Take%20me%20to%20Fenway%20Park). - Languages: 16 (English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Chinese Simplified and Traditional, Japanese, Korean, Hindi, Arabic, Hebrew, Russian, Vietnamese, Haitian Creole). The app, answers, voice input and stop alerts all switch. - Accessibility: optional settings at sign-up or in Settings: step-free routes (accessible stations and vehicles only, with MBTA elevator outage warnings), blind or low vision (bigger text, read-aloud route, spoken stop alert), deaf or hard of hearing (a stronger flash alert, no sound needed), extra time and simpler steps (slower walking pace, 5-minute transfers, fewer switches). - How to use it: type or say where you're going in your own words and language, like "Salem", "Fenway Park" or "get me to Logan by 6". Cobblehop answers with one route as a visual card: what to board, when it leaves, a leave-in countdown, the stops, when you arrive and the walking at each end. - Live departures: ask something like "next trains at North Station" to see what's leaving an MBTA station next. - Stop alert: tap "Buzz me before my stop" to start a live ride. Cobblehop follows the train or bus and alerts you when your stop is next, with a chime, a full-screen flash and a notification. It keeps the screen awake during the ride and tells you to get to the door one stop early. - Coverage: MBTA subway, Commuter Rail, buses, Silver Line and ferries; every Massachusetts regional transit authority (PVTA, WRTA, MeVa, LRTA, MWRTA, BRTA, CCRTA, GATRA, SRTA, FRTA, VTA, NRTA, CATA, MART and Brockton Area Transit); Amtrak; the CTrail Hartford Line; Massport Logan Express; Plymouth & Brockton, Yankee Line and Boston Express coaches; Hy-Line Cruises and other ferries to the islands and Provincetown; and nearby trips into Providence and Rhode Island and southern New Hampshire. - Data: live MBTA predictions where available and published schedules elsewhere. Times are never guaranteed. - Who it's for: visitors and tourists first, and anyone who finds transit confusing, including seniors, people with disabilities, non-native English speakers, students and commuters on unfamiliar routes. - Platforms: works in any phone browser and can be added to the home screen. Native iPhone and Android apps are coming. - Account: try it without an account for your first few trips; then create a free account to keep going (name, email, phone, password). - Limits: it doesn't book rideshares, taxis or hotels; requests it can't handle yet are noted for future features. It doesn't work offline. - Independence: Cobblehop is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by the MBTA, MassDOT or any transit agency. Transit data: MassDOT/MBTA and other public transit agencies. - Company: operated by MAUD LLC (Pennsylvania).
