Questions hosts ask

Does the guest link cost anything?

No. The link, the QR code and the printable card are free, and you don't need an account to make them. Guests can start right away, with no sign-up and no app to install.

Where does it work?

Across Massachusetts: MBTA subway, Commuter Rail, buses and ferries, the regional bus systems, Amtrak and the island ferries, plus nearby trips into Rhode Island and southern New Hampshire.

Do guests have to share their location?

No. Your link sets the starting point, so the first plan starts at your place. Guests can still say "from Back Bay instead" or use their own location.

Can I change the name guests see?

Yes. Edit "The name your guests see" and tap Update. The link, QR code and card change with it. Your link holds the place's map position (to about 10 meters) and that name, nothing else.

Is Cobblehop the official MBTA app?

No. Cobblehop is an independent app. It uses public data from MassDOT/MBTA and other transit agencies. See About Cobblehop.
